Eagle Scouts Program

Stonewall-Jasper
Lodge No.6 has been involved with the Eagle Scouts Patch and Certificates program for the past three years. In February 2005,
Stonewall-Jasper Lodge was invited to the Local Council Banquet and handed out 85 Patches and Certificates. On February 12,
2006 Stonewall-Jasper Lodge was once again invited to the Local Council Banquet and handed out another 79 Eagles Scouts Patches
and Certificates. On February 11, 2007 we awarded 112 patches and certificates.
This year's Annual Boy Scout Banquet was held on February 11, 2007 at the James Island Country Club. Stonewall-Jasper
Lodge #6 presented 112 Knights of Pythias Eagle Scout patches and certificates. Chancellor Commander Jim Seward was one of
the featured speakers at the banquet. Also in attendance from Stonewall-Jasper Lodge #6 were Supreme Representative Bruce
H. Brown, Deputy Grand Chancellor Bruce E. Brown, Brother Joseph Brown and Brother Paul Sheldon. This was the most Eagle Scout
patches ever presented. Forty-Five Eagle Scouts were in attendance at the banquet and received their certificates and patches
in person, the rest were given to the Boy Scout leadership to be conveyed to the Eagle Scouts at a later time. The Boy Scout
Eagle Scout program is an important part of our Lodge and helps spread the Pythian ideals.
Grand Chancellor Corey Caffrey would like to thank Sir Alfred Saltzman, Supreme Secretary for his
support in mailing the Eagle Scouts Packages. Sir Alfred is a credit to our Order and has been a pleasure working with him.
Brother Caffrey would also like to thank the members of Stonewall-Jasper Lodge No.6 for their support.
The members of Stonewall-Jasper would like to thank Dale Doldahl and Deborah Ritter of the Boy Scouts of America
Local Council for their support with the Knights of Stonewall-Jasper. We look forward to the continuing corporation in this
endeavor.
The members of Stonewall-Jasper Lodge would like to thank Grand Chancellor Corey Caffrey for the hard work
he has put towards the Eagle Scout program and all the work he does in our Lodge. We at Stonewall-Jasper are proud of Brother
Caffrey.
Message from the Corey Caffrey Grand Chancellor of the Domain of South Carolina :
During the past year we have seen improvements in the Eagle Scout Certificate and Patch program.
It is my wish to see a continued success with this program. I would encourage all Subordinate Lodges to contact the Local
Boy Scout Council. By doing this you can set up a meeting and discuss how the Knights of Pythias can help the Boy Scouts in
your area and discuss the Eagle Scout Certificate Program. Each Subordinate Lodge has a sample Package with the Patch and

Brother Caffrey reports that there are already, as
of February 3, 2007, 12 Eagle Scouts.
