Family Cruise

On Saturday September 8th, Stonewall Jasper Lodge #6, Elizabeth Temple #2, Sinbad Temple # 96 and Elloree Temple #2 went a’cruising.

The ship Carnival’s Celebration, left the sunny port of Jacksonville, Florida to cruise to Key West and Nassau Bahamas.

We arrived in Key West where the 42 Pythians spent the day touring the farthest southern city in the continental United States. Then it was off to the sunny Bahamas! A great time was had by all. Virtually all the officers of Stonewall-Jasper Lodge #6 attended as well as the DOKK officers and the Elizabeth Temple#2 officers! In addition, we had 6 Past Grand Chancellors and three of the 5 Golden Spurs from the Domain of South Carolina.

Two gatherings of the Pythians took place. On formal night a group picture was taken and on the last night of the cruise there was a cocktail party for the entire group. The ship returned to the port of Jacksonville on Thursday morning.

FOR MORE INFO OR TO REGISTER FOR NEXT YEARS CRUISE: E mail Brother Gerald Gutkin.

Many thanks go out to Brother Gerald Gutkin and his wife Jo-Ella for all their work putting it together.

Some of the activities included:

Golfing in the Bahamas
Deep Sea fishing in the Bahamas
Historical tours of Key West and the Bahamas
Shopping, Shopping and more Shopping!!!

and just laying around the ship!
